Are you expecting a new bundle of joy? Do you hydrate enough? We all hear drinking adequate water each day provides essential benefits for our body but it is also invaluable to your unborn baby’s body as well. By drinking 80 – 90 ounces of water within 2 hours before receiving a prenatal ultrasound, the amniotic fluid surrounding your baby increases.
Drinking water provides for a better opportunity to visualize your baby’s anatomy during an ultrasound – up to 35% better!
Circle of Life Women’s Center has been voted the BEST Obstetric Center of Northern Utah.
Our pregnant patients will receive an ultrasound at every visit.
Send a text to 801-337-5800 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and our nurses will do their best to answer your question.
This should NOT be used for scheduling or emergencies. Keep in mind, some questions cannot be answered over a text and a nurse may ask you to call in.
